How to Use Ben's Board Balm

Getting Started

Ben's Board Balm is a food-safe wood conditioner designed to protect, hydrate, and restore your cutting boards and wooden kitchen tools. Follow these simple steps to get the best results.

Step 1: Clean Your Board

Before applying, make sure your cutting board is clean and completely dry.

Step 2: Apply the Balm

Using the provided applicator pad, paper towel, or a cloth, scoop a small amount of balm and rub it evenly across the surface of your wood in a circular motion to ensure is gets deep into the grain.

Step 3: Let It Absorb

Allow the balm to absorb into the wood for at least 20 minutes, or overnight for best results.

Step 4: Buff

Buff off any excess balm with a clean, dry cloth. Your board is now protected and ready to use!

How Often Should I Apply?

We recommend conditioning your board once a month, or whenever the wood starts to look dry or dull.
